Happy Halloween!

Photography: people suck at it. Whenever I browse convention galleries, I can't help but notice how terrible the photos are. Here at OBG, we try not to suck as bad as some of the other guys when it comes to photography, because we know a good image will make you feel like you're on the show floor with us. So without further ado, here are the notable get-ups from our time at the show. Enjoy!
Comic Con was over 2 weeks ago you say? Shut your mouth! Editing photos is a long and arduous task, especially while working a full time job, playing and penning 3 reviews, and on occasion, saving the world from certain doom. I know, I know, cry moar!
At any rate, here are some of the photos from San Diego Comic Con 2011. You'll find some cosplay, some toys, a bit of cleavage, and a huge heaping of awesome. Break out the soda and popcorn and enjoy the show!
Yes, New York Comic Con is a little more than a week removed, but like most useful gifts, it just keeps on giving. This time in the form of what is probably a really expensive camera, a handycam rig, and some of Comic Con's most creative and good looking people.
Unfortunately, it seems like cosplay and vomit go hand in hand on the interwebz, with the best of the costumed quirks forever being drowned out by people who have no business being in a leotard, damn it. However terrible you may look prancing around the city, poured into a glamorous paper-maché Princess Peach gown, being gangsta entails doing something that you love and flipping haters the bird. So, have no choice but to salute you, awful cosplayers. However, once again, this post is about quality. So here it is.

We here at Otaku But Gangsta appreciate the fine art of cosplay. We appreciate the effort most people put into it, but to truly earn our respect, your cosplay has to be done right. You need to bring your A-game cousin, because you're in public, thus you're on film, and therefore, you are on the interwebz. So don't screw this up, you only get one chance to shine!

Miranda Lawson, Mass Effect 2's genetically engineered perfect woman, is hot. Some might say her suit is more fitting to work a pole than to cleanse the universe of genocidal robot-gods, but damn, dat ass.
Do I feel odd admitting this? Maybe a little, but I don't care. Besides, Miranda is modeled after a real woman, a real good looking woman at that. So seeing this Miranda cosplay made my heart skip a beat. Not only because Miranda's real-life avatar, Jessika F., is a looker but because of the detail Dark Stars put into the shoot and post processing. Omnitools, geth, mechs, skintight suit, Cerberus agents, it's all there.
Make sure you check out the whole photo set. Not to be missed if you're a fan of Mass Effect, hot cosplay chicks, great photoshop work, or all of the above.
